The new 2.2 mile Two Rivers Nature Trail boasts a sweeping viewpoint of the confluence of the Nestucca and Little Nestucca Rivers. The trail is moderate based on elevation changes and uneven terrain. The timing of early April offers a unique opportunity to view early migrants while still enjoying lingering winter birds and waterfowl. While looking for both, we will enjoy views of resident raptors and woodland birds.
Location: Heading north on Hwy 101, turn left at the refuge entrance on Christensen Road and meet in the lower parking area.
