Seven Capes Bird Alliance
Working together for birds and nature
Our News
Early this year, a scenario unfolded that happens around the world. Our teenage daughter came into my bedroom in the early evening with a shocked and excited look on her face. “A bird hit our house, and I think it’s an owl!” she said.

This summer, Seven Capes is excited to offer even more opportunities to go birding with us! We’re introducing Birding by D River, mini bird walks every first and third Saturday from June 6 to August 15.
Crisp temperatures remind us that well maintained feeders are a great way to supplement bird diets when other food is scarce.
This year, 2025, marks the 20th anniversary of Seven Capes Bird Alliance, Oregon’s youngest Audubon chapter.
