CANCELLED - Hatfield Marine Science Center Nature Trail and Yaquina Bay South Jetty

This bird walk is CANCELLED due to incoming winter storm!

Yaquina Bay regularly hosts thousands of wintering waterfowl. After walking the trail, we’ll drive to the south jetty as time permits. We should see Harlequin and other diving ducks, loons, and other wintering birds. This trip offers short easy walks to viewing areas.

Location: Meet in the Hatfield Marine Science Center visitor center parking lot.

Directions: From HWY 101 south of the Yaquina Bay Bridge in Newport, turn on to SE Marine Science Drive and continue to take the first exit from the traffic circle.
